I don't see anything sophisticated about a bunch of loud and stinky cars speeding round and round on a track. I've been to a Nascar game in college. Never again. The only alcoholic drink served was ordinary beer like budweiser. Every food they served had meat or dairy products in it.

I didn't even bother opening the Lush thread.

It is bad to talk about sex because it is too much information. When I log on GC during lunch break, I often lose my appetite because some of the nasty comments. That's a shame that I can't spend a few minutes checking GC certain times of the day.

there are quite a bit of serious and informational threads on here. we just don't need them all the time. don't take away our fun. the silly and fun threads keep most of us from losing our minds. it is good to be silly, especially when you are with a bunch of people. silly threads are my favorite.

besides, on a message board where college students are the majority, you cannot always expect to find sophistication. common sense should have told you that.
From what I observe, most of the GC regulars are recent college grads from their mid twenties to mid thirties. By then, sex and drinking should not be a big deal anymore. Shouldn't these activities lose their novelty by age 24? When I was 24, I was interested in bigger and better things; such as advancing in my career, spending time with my husband, buying a house, and preparing to have children.

Make sure you don't vote, either - those damn flappers will rule the world if you let them.
I'm not much of a feminist in the first place.

I'm offended that you care more about the word Vagina than you do Penis. These are legitimate medical terms describe the human anatomy. One or both most likely describes your own. Yet you find them crass? For shame.

Got or gave, one of the two.

Seriously? A NASCAR game? Really paid attention, did you? What was the final score?

This was one of my greater Greek Chat disappointments.

Really, Drolefille, really?

Well, at least there's Tony Stewart cross over, I guess.

Well I was never really a fan of either and then I was in Indy during the 500 and my boyfriend's family had digital cable so I watched most of the race from Danica's car

I think it's the symptathetic girl gamer in me that roots for the girl racer

I think my husband has a celebrity crush on Danica although she seems to have a bobble-head quality to me. At least she's authentically accomplished as opposed to a Hollywood bimbo.

This sockpuppet had me at natural sex. I'm sure that an explanation of such a terribly boring-sounding term would be crass, but bouy would it be funny. I am amused to the point where I am actually posting in chitchat.

And also- in before the lock.

I guess sex didn't lose its novely to you by 24, so why should that apply to us?

Wait I missed that... Veganism is sophistication? Meat and Dairy are not?

Tell all those chefs who serve fois gras and Kobe Beef that they're unsophisticated! (Or any number of other meat or dairy based products!)
