Where's the sophistication Greek Chat?
I am here to sound off. I am tired of the nasty nonsense I read on GC. Also, there are threads that are simply dull. We are supposed to be educated and mature adults. However, some of the posts do not reflect that.
There are three members who turn every subject into something perverted. What’s more appalling is that one of them is a female.
Just look at some of the recent threads on the chat forums.
What’s for dinner?
What do you feel like saying right now?
Ewww are you kidding me?
Love of make up thread
Being a lush
Any Nascar fans on here?
Heart Burn
Cop a feel
Do’s and dont’s of sex
Physical Appearances you refuse to date
Fake wedding cakes
Don’t even get me started on the older threads. 
We can do better, GC.

First of all . . . bienvenido al internet! You're apparently new to the medium - there's literally nothing about this site that should 'ensure' intellectual or "sophisticated" chat . . . who decides what is "sophisticated" enough for consumption, anyway? The sophists? You might be disappointed . . .
I do agree in one limited sense, however - the googletarding has GOT to stop. For the love of GOD.
I would probably pour yourself a glass of 'sophisticated' wine (NO MOSCATOS HERE, NO NO NO) and chill out. Maybe even, *gasp* start some discussion if you're unhappy with the state of the site!
Complaining seems like a poor use of resources, mate.

What is wrong with NASCAR? Does being a NASCAR fan automatically make me an uneducated immature adult? My MEd. begs to differ. The Lush thread is about a company from Great Britain that produces beauty supplies. Maybe if you would have read that you would have known. Since when is it "bad' to talk about sex? Being educated and mature adults I would hope we can talk about sex on here. I could continue on but my dinner is almost done (and I feel this is pointless). Oh and it's Hamburger Helper..how mature

occipitofrontal, i am so sorry that we don't provide the sophistication needed to suit your needs. perhaps you can enlighten us over a cup of earl grey tea.
there are quite a bit of serious and informational threads on here. we just don't need them all the time. don't take away our fun. the silly and fun threads keep most of us from losing our minds. it is good to be silly, especially when you are with a bunch of people. silly threads are my favorite.
besides, on a message board where college students are the majority, you cannot always expect to find sophistication. common sense should have told you that.
