I think the issue at hand here, with creation science (and some other Bible literalist/Christian fundamentalist beliefs and practices), is that they ARE hurting others, because many of the followers of these tenets are attempting to force them on others. Personally, I'm a big fan of separation of church and state (and IMO, state-sponsored education is included in that).

I see what all of y'all are saying, for sure...and for the record, I'm not a Creationist and don't necessarily agree with anything that they claim. I'd probably describe my own beliefs as more of the theistic evolutionary approach.
If the Creationists are causing problems for people and making their lives miserable....yeah, then I'd be pissed. But to say the things about them that RACooper did simply because of their beliefs.......I think that is pretty shitty.
