I know it's not as fancy, but I have found some great dresses at Dillards the last few months.

I see a lot of these halter tops with low backs - that looks like a great silouette. That Dillard's dress is great, actually!

ETA: I just browsed the cocktail dresses on the Dillard's site and there are a LOT of really cute, sexy in a sophisticated way, dresses!
