You're not breaking any laws by presenting a sorority member with her crest. LOL. Get the ornament and give it to her.

I think that I just had a problem with someone seeing my name and thinking, "why is she getting our crest?!" So, I got it!

I dont think anyone would have a problem with you buying it as a gift. I think it would be a real problem if you were WEARING the crest or using it for your self.

Just my two cents, though. :-)

*lol* as funny as it seems, that happened when I was in undergrad... a girl had rushed 3 times and didn't get a bid, and just decided to start buying our stuff and wearing it around. *shudder*

Now that is just utterly wrong. Did someone stop her? I know people that would definitely get "extra angry" about wearing their colors without having to go through an initiation to get them. Some people just want to belong...
