Same here. I'm the type of person who *hates* to see food wasted, so, even if I'm not hungry, I tend to finish my plate. Kid sized meals help me not to overeat.

Now the real question is, if you're petite, can you order off the kids' menu?

Sometimes? I eat from the kids' menu all the time! Some of the dishes offered in eat are tastier and cheaper than the adult versions. And I can finish them off rather than only being able to eat half of the meal.
Dionysus- is this forum Ehell? I'm there too.

Same rules apply IMHO, but you're fair game for going for the child admission rates anywhere you go....

Portions are pretty large in most restaurants so I usually take half home of whatever I order. I have only ordered off of it when the options are along the lines of burgers and fries and I might share an appetizer or order dessert to share so they are usually okay with it. Like my sister AGDLynn, if there is a squirrel item I am likely to get a kids meal, and if there isn't I give the toy to one of my assistants as she has a preschooler.

Back when they used to serve food on airplanes, I set up my UAL profile for a kids meal. The McDonalds stuff they had was a whole lot better than the chicken or other mystery meats they served.

That's why I always ask for the vegetarian meals on planes. Way tastier and not scary.

 | no you're not. I love it, for the record, but have friends that detest it.

I'll get Happy Meals or something similar, but as many people said, for the most part the kids' menus at sit-down restaurants are crap.

I do, because the portions are smaller and it's cheaper most of the time.
