Oooh, ooh! I've got one!
When my biological sister was a senior in college, her sisters set her up with the roommate of a friend for her formal. They met for drinks one night to see if they'd hit it off, before she asked him, and about 15 minutes in, he decided he liked her and said, "So I hear there's this formal..."
After the date, she came home and told her sisters,
"Yeah, he's a nice guy - I'm taking him to formal. I mean, I'm not going to *marry* him or anything."
Aaaaand they've been married sixteen years.
