The premise of the show is a little silly - and the whole only 5 pledges making it through is very reality TV.
I, too, hope that the chapters these girls are from aren't judged by their actions. But their actions are worrying. Hannah says "those pledges have no idea what they're in for though. They think the hardest part is over, but it's only just begun " at the end of the episode (then cue creepy giggle from the president) before it cuts to a preview of a whole lotta hazing. I don't know if it's the producers dictating that the girls make the pledges jump through these hoops for the ratings, or the girls' ideas, but either way it makes me uncomfortable. Le sigh.
