^^^You know the awkward moment where you get a snarky response from someone and have to double check and see if you were being rude? I had that. lol.

And re: the point of this thread, there MAY be schools that aren't particularly as legacy-heavy where a visit might really stand out. (But even then, collegians are really good bullshit detectors. If you are visiting for that sole purpose, they can tell.)

But at Bama/Ole Miss, not so much. There are a lot more legacies and they just can't give them all that sort of "stand out" treatment, even if they really DO like the girl/mom and her intentions of visiting are genuinely a "look where I used to live" thing.
