abee - be sure to get your rec letters and consult w/ the new school to make sure your GPA transfers. If there's a facebook group for "abee's new school recruitment spring 2012" be sure to join it. While the other girls are having chances to get to know sisters, they are also having chances to do dumbass things like go to a fraternity party and throw up all over a sorority sister's shoes.  |
you nailed it! Fall acceptance letters went out and I did not recieve my first choice school, only to be contacted by them two weeks later to tell me that I was so close that they could go ahead and admit me for spring term. Thank you all so much! It's all great advice! One more question: If I do not have a friend, relative or aquatance that is in a sorority, could I contact a local alumnae chapter about possibly meeting with someone to write me a letter of recommendation? Or is that a big "no-no"?
