UNLV

First of all, hello everyone!

Second, I've been lurking here for some time. I did a bit of research on this subject before I decided to make an account and ask. So if for some reason I missed a thread or something about this, let me know. :]

Third, I will be transferring from my current community college to a university in the next year or so (if everything goes according to plan) and I was wondering about the school I'll be transferring to.

I am looking to move to go to UNLV, as they have the major I want and I've been wanting for move to LV for some time now.

My question is:
How competitive is recruitment at UNLV? Like I said earlier in this post, I have looked around on the website and tried to find some sort of answer, to no avail.

Also, I won't be a freshman when I go through recruitment at UNLV (if that is where I move), and I know at most schools that is almost an automatic no. Will I even have a shot?
