Back in the 80's when I was dating this guy, who was a Sigma Chi alum (out in the working world for a few years), I mentioned how much I would love to have a Candle Light before I graduated. He jokingly said that he would lavalier me
, I said, "Heck No, you're 25 years old!!! How lame would that be?"
He got the message
- a couple months later he asked me to marry him, along with an engagement ring! I got to have my Candle Light, he got ME!!
Now married 25 years- what a smart choice for him!!

Still have the candle with the wine and silver blue ribbons in a glass case in my kitchen!
