If I'm going to be honest about it, I sorta/kinda look down on people who bring any sort of food into a movie - and it's not just a "rich guy/poor guy" thing, there's also things like "duder doesn't understand market economics" and all that.
Except for booze - bringing booze into a theater (presuming they don't already serve) is always totally fine.
