So, I could see if there was a McDonalds or Burger King inside the building for the same kind of thing. I understand some of the movie beverages and snacks can be expensive to some, but bringing in actual meals inside when the theater clearly objects to it doesn't make sense. Plus, the sound of fast food bags can be pretty annoying. I dunno, it's just that I think it's low-class, and inconsiderate to people who want to watch the movie without having to hear loud fast food bags.

Herein lies the true difference between the CGs.

My take: i honestly prefer a meal over a snack with a movie. if i've eaten before the movie, then no need to bring a meal or snack. but if im hungry, why not. have you HEARD the way people chew popcorn, nachos and the like? its no louder or more disruptive than a cheeseburger wrapper or Tupperware container being opened.

i dont know if i'd actually go through the trouble of cooking a meal solely for a movie. but if i had leftover and could grab and go, sure. or if someone brought food with them and offered me some, i wouldn't object on grounds of morality and ethics.
