Achievements: Team Captain, Feather River College Women’s Basketball Team for 2 years; Member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society, made the Dean’s List all 4 semesters, made the National Dean’s List 2002-2003, was named 2003 All-State Academic Team, and Vice President of the Varsity Club (a club for athletes on campus). Graduated with the highest honors in May of 2003. While an undergrad at ISU, became a member of Beta Alpha Psi (accounting fraternity), National Association for the Advancement of Color People College Chapter, Omicron Delta Kappa Honors Society, participated in various intramural sports and was a referee at the Boys and Girls Club. She is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated where she is the Treasurer of her local chapter (Eta Chi Sigma), Co-Advisor to the organizations auxiliary group the Rhoer Club, and representative to the National Pan-Hellenic Council; Member of the National Association of Black Accountants. Volunteer work includes participation in the Martin Luther King parade, Aids for Aids of Nevada, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk (Las Vegas Race for the Cure), Nevada Center for the Blind, Operation Christmas Child, participation in College Outreach program at Mountaintop Faith Ministries (MFM), and conducted a workshop at MFM titled “Real Talk with Teenage Girls.
