Greetings Sorors and Sisterfriends,
I posted to this site once under the topic of famous speakers for graduation, but I was unable to properly introduce myself. I am a new member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated from Spring 2000. Since then, I have enjoyed every moment of my membership. I recently moved to a new location where I am working and going through the graduate school application process. Since moving here, I have had the chance to meet Sorors, but some of them, I hate to say, are not too sisterly
. On the other hand, I have also met some really nice young ladies. The communication on this site seems to be very positive and I would love to contribute to the discussion.
To all Sisterfriends seeking membership into Alpha Kappa Alpha this semester, good luck in your endeavor. Remember to be patient, respectful, and always conduct yourselves in a lady-like fashion. Also, watch what you say, how you say it, and who you say it to. Just a bit of advice given to me that I thought I would pass on
