I completely agree about the Muslim ties things: it just seems stupid and ignorant.

But the inexperience thing seems a whole lot more valid to me. I wouldn't put them both in the same category.

Obama as a person makes a favorable impression on me. It's only when you look at his actual record that he's problematic: first because it's a little insubstantial (although H. Clinton's isn't much better) then because he's been much more liberal in some areas than I think any conservative would want (as have been both Hillary and McCain, but McCain emerges as the most conservative of three)
