Britney's parents have all that information available and they should have stepped in after the 24 hour (or however long it was) marriage to that Jason guy and made her GET HELP. IMO that was the beginning of all the craziness. At this point, I think she would have to be given an adult caretaker (if there is such a thing) because her family hasn't shown any inclination or ability to help her.

I didn't know the full story behind Judy Garland - my gosh, no wonder she was a mess, and her daughter seems to be right behind her. Good judgment is/was not their closest friend.
And totally, totally agree about that first marriage. It was such a scream for mental help, and everyone just rode on the wagon with her, rather than let her get the help she needed so badly.
