For me, it's being able to talk about a variety of topics intelligently and without expecting everyone to have the same viewpoint as her.
Someone who can disagree constructively, without having to resort to personal attacks.
Someone who's knowledge of news and current events go beyond celebrity gossip/scandals and reality show goings-on. Those who listen to NPR and BBC is a major plus (REAL NEWS sources), along with those who keep up with economic news and/or read The Economist and Mother Jones. Again, they don't have to do all these things, but they must be aware of current news from a variety of sources, not just CNN and Fox News. But I digress....
Another major turn-on is those who have conservative family values with no feminist attitudes or traits (ex. women with hyphenated names is a red flag). Of course, those who dress conservatively is a major turn on for me; I like to be greeted at the door by a woman in a June Cleaver dress with pearls (yeah, I like AKAs
) over a woman coming to the door with Saran Wrap and stiletto heels. But that's just me, though. YMMV.
