Wow. I've had a mother-in-law and a future mother-in-law, but neither of them were quite this nervy! Of course in each case, I said that you may invite x amount of people, that's ALL. And that the caterer's cut off date was two weeks prior to the wedding - if she wanted to add someone, she must also take someone OFF of her list.
You poor dear. I'm glad to hear that your fiance has a spine, as it will make or break your marriage - and men like that are hard to come by!
