Ditto here to everything. I just think he was over-coached. I first remember seeing/hearing him last year during the Presidential primary season. I was so impressed with the fact that he answered every single question thrown at him with little to no spin or diversion. He always seemed to say exactly what he meant and very eloquently.

Perhaps he is just better suited to unrehearsed discussion rather than practiced, teleprompter speeches. Opposite - in my opinion - of President Obama's style.

My personal beliefs on government are much more in line with Jindal's - the less government intervention into the market, the better. Americans, by and large, should be able to take care of themselves.
