For some posts in this thread, I feel like there must be pictures that are displayed but my browser displays no picture. I'm using contextual cues for my conjecture on this, particularly post language and replies. Anybody else experiencing this?

The more I see the gold foil letters, the more I like them! They POP, no matter the background color, no matter the letters!

These are of Pitt's Alpha Delta Pi Chapter.
I'm not sure what was the theme of this party:
These are from All American ADPi (note the shoes!):
(This is the Informal Side of the Suite. For those who don't know, all of the sororities except Kappa and TPA are in Amos Hall. Each has a Formal Side and an Informal Side)
And this is from Pref. While I salute not using black, I'm not wild about the shade of blue:

You can hold me responsible for this one -- I've encouraged my chapters to switch to cobalt dresses since they stand out more than black or white and are consistent with our blue and white branding.

I'll pose this question in here, because I'm curious about something I've seen on Instagram. I've noticed in certain pictures during pref rounds, some members are wearing tight and/or short dresses (more what I consider to be appropriate for a club setting). While I totally understand they are young and don't need to be dowdy (and I'm not THAT much older than them, so I have some of those dresses in my closet), is that really appropriate for recruitment in your opinions?
...and I DO love the Colbalt! Bold color!

You're right. There have been stories on here where the girl's dress was so short she exposed the goods to the whole room. Thankfully that level of short seems to be going out of style, but it's disappointing that 18 year olds don't know the difference in how to dress for a serious occasion versus going out to pick up guys.
And I will say again... Protect your dignity!

I like the cobalt blue dresses, it's something different from black or white. Some Sigma Kappa chapters are using variations of purple now for preference. I like that, as well.

IMO, no. It's not appropriate at all. We always remind PNMs that they're dressing to impress women not men. Some girls just don't get it though.
