Yep, someone in that group was mean to do that pig poster thing, for sure.

On the other hand, who would you put in the front of the group for the video that isn't going to hurt someone's feelings?

I'd probably put the people most involved with campus activities so they'd be recognized and the officers of the group, but I'm not sure that putting the most visually pleasing people in the entirely visual presentation is exactly cruelty to the rest of the group.

On the other hand, why would you do a line-up like that to begin with?

Maybe I misunderstood, but I was thinking that they were listing how they would line up to be taped for a video as part of recruitment. Even if you didn't have any mean intentions, you'd have to do some planning as to how to arrange people, if only by height.

If you're from a chapter of 100+ people, figuring out how to assemble people kind of comes with the size. If you've ever seen door stacking, you realize it's not an incidental assembly of people. I'm thinking the video or line up for the video might be like that.

I don't LIKE the idea of putting more traditionally beautiful women in front and less in back...but as long as they are ALL in it, that's better than some instances I've seen. At least the women weren't being kept from the video.

But to be fair, I think my feelings would be hurt, too.

Not every single one of my sisters is nice to me...I don't know anyone who loves every single one of their sisters...and in fact there was a very serious incident between myself and another woman at one point...but I wouldn't let one person make me feel unwelcome, because I have just as much right to participate in Alpha Gam as she does. That's not fair to myself or my chapter...I wonder if she had a small group of the 120 picking on her or if it was pressure from the chapter in general? If a sister leaves because of the actions taken by other sister(s), then the problem needs to be addressed...I know it'll be harder to address it if it's a chapter mentality and not the actions of a certain group of girls.

Reminds me of HS.

The in girls turned out toothless, weight gained, early gray or getting bald.

While the wall flowers who were not popular ended up being hotties.

Today is never tomarrow is it?

That is why ADPi left my campus as they were known as ADPigs and were actually the nicest ladies of any of the Sororities. Well, one of the reasons which either way was very cruel for them.

Unless the Officers are otherwise actively involved in campus I don't think they should be in front. Just because someone is a good leader/president/officer/whatever doesn't mean that person should automatically be the spokesperson. Most people who bear the title President couldn't give a speach if their life depended on it, yet they never seem to shut up.

On the other hand, people who are very active in campus probably shouldn't be officers.

When I was in college, we were always blessed with excellent officers so it's hard to relate to your comment, but sure, if that was/is your experience then put the good spokespeople up front.

Not saying which sororities on campus this applies to, including my own...but sometimes yes, it applies.

Billy, not really sure about waht you said and why?

Isn't is true that those in leadership positions are the ones who lead over all?

Granted, there are Officerships and those who run them and some who hopefully are designated to run for certain campus wide leadership jobs?

Uaually they are the higher Officers are they not?

No kidding. Karma is a b. though...the girl that gave her that poster will die of heart failure when she becomes morbidly obese by 60.

At least it wasn't officials doing it this time, but I'm sorry...I can't comprehend saying that behind someone's back, much less to their face. And I think she's right to point out that, hey, members do it, too. It's not just those in charge.

When will these girls stop being stupid bitches so the sorority chapters who are NOT like this can stop being looked down on?

You think quotes like this will do the trick? Calling other women "stupid bitches" makes you look good?
