Fitbit Users?

Any fitbit users on here? One of my friends recommended it to me and I LOVE it. It's a total reality check if you have a desk job. The default goal is 10K steps per day. I haven't made that yet, but I hope to soon, and I hope to eventually have to increase that goal. I'm not a runner, but I'm mapping out new routes in my neighborhood to increase my walking distance.

My daughter got me hooked on it. Love that I can charge it on my computer so I don't have to worry about finding speciality batteries if it dies while I'm out and about. I have it synched with my phone so I am able to keep track of my steps during the day. I have the Fitbit One which is small enough I can wear it under my clothes and no one knows I have it on. I LOVE MY FITBIT! I have gotten quite a few friends to get one too.

I gave myself and my husband Fitbits for our anniversary two weeks ago. I'm hooked. It really hit home how many empty calories I was taking in, and just exactly how sedentary my job can be.

I found out about them from one of our customers - their company gives them to any employee who wants one, and they can earn money and a reduction on their insurance if they opt to move more. They can earn up to $1000 a year for using them. The CEO is a retired nurse, and she also brings in people to do healthy cooking demos, yoga classes... I love seeing companies invest in their greatest asset!

I want one and have been debating if it was worth it. Sounds like it is. What about if y are wearing a dress? No waist band to put it on?

I wear mine on my bra, at my sternum. It's small and discreet, and while I may not always have pockets or a waistband, it's a cold day in hell that I leave my house braless.

Many of the women I know who have them do the same.

I have to tell you, it's the best money I've spent this year. Go for it!

Amazon.com has them, but I got mine at BestBuy. The price is basically set in stone, so there's no benefit in doing a lot of bargain hunting.

My (more than) 2 cents.

I'm curious too. I'm leaning towards buying the One but I'm wondering if it's worth the extra $40 compared to the Zip.

I have the One, and I clip it to my bra. You cannot see it. I don't like stuff on my wrist. I would be less likely to wear that one which is why I like the One.

I got mine at Best Buy. You can also get it at Target, and if you have their Red card (debit or credit) you can save the 5%.

I have the One, because the wrist one would bug me. I love the sleep activity feature and the altimeter. I also love that it "talks" to me.

If you pick it up after setting it down, it flashes a little message to you.

I'm a fan.

My fitbit came today. I charged it, set it up on my computer, and can't wait to begin wearing it tomorrow. One question. Do you need that synchy thing to synch it. I am still figuring it out.
