Mac Users, I need your help!

I've got a bunch of fonts on my computer at work that I'm trying to streamline. My company has FontBook... which is really slow. So I've downloaded a trial version of Suitcase, and I'll purchase later.

Thing is... it's taking FOREVER for Suitcase to start. I've been sitting here for 15 minutes and it still says "Suitcase Initializing... this will take a few moments."

I know on my previous Mac, it did take a while for Suitcase to start... but never this long. I'm running Panther. I have been meaning to clean off this system because it's a 40GB hard drive and only has 5 left. Should I do that first? Is that why it's taking so long?

You may want to close out of the program and check the file permissions on the files on your mac.

If you really have a lot of fonts on your system and low memory then you might keep getting a problem too...
