I was just looking something up on tv.yahoo.com and saw a link where you can program your TiVo box to record when you are not at home, i.e. you forgot to set to record Oprah or Maury or a rerun of The Cosby Show, as long as you have a Yahoo account and TiVo, you can request it online.

i have dvr through the cable company, but this feature is pushing me towards getting tivo!

to the tivo subscribers, are there any low-end packages you would recommend?

I have tivo through DirecTv...so I 'm not sure that this service works for me, which sux!

Maybe try to get with DirectTv because my Tivo box was $100 with a $50 rebate. I pay $4.99/month for Tivo services.
