Worst/Bad movie endings
What are some movies that you thought were really good all the way through, but when they got to the ending of it you were like "you've got to be kidding me. Seriously?"
In this thread we talk about bad movie endings.
I didn't like the ending of "The break up". I'm sure there will be more, I just can't think of any right now besides the one I mentioned.

Atonement and Remember Me! Awful.

OK, these two are not "bad," but totally unexpected: "No Way Out" and "Raputure" (which was actually a really good movie, but got awful reviews)

Skyline. Woof, that was 2 hours I wanted back because of the ending.
I also got that reaction with Monty Python and the Holy Grail, but in a completely different way.

I totally forgot about Skyline. Yes, that was bad, really bad. I didn't like the ending in Super 8 either. Well...I didn't like that movie, at all.

I love Monty Python and the Holy Grail, but it's difficult for me to watch because I know I'll just hit that disappointing, unsatisfying, unfunny brick wall at the end. Still a great movie, but why couldn't they have given it a proper ending?

I kinda think they meant it that way.
I don't hardly ever make it past the Knights who say Ni, anyway. The first 30 minutes or so are the best part anyway, and I could watch that on loop, but it does go downhill quite fast.

Agree.
Also, Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull, Castaway and Knowing.
I actually liked the ending to Remember Me, depressing though...

That whole movie was terrible. Just so, so bad.

I just thought it took every story from that event and bastardized it. I wish it had been something more mundane. That would have made it better for me.

You're serious? You liked that the movie ended with a completely bizarre, out-of-place and otherwise-unexplained DEATH ON SEPTEMBER 11TH?

Lol..well I guess? Idk, I just didnt see the Sep 11th thing coming until the scene where the little sister is in school and the date is on the chalkboard...so maybe I just liked the whole "surprise! its 9/11/01" twist..Ill have to watch it again, only seen it once.

Ugh! Knowing was shaping up to be such a great movie and then that ending came out of nowhere. Terrible.
