When that girl said something along the line of: this dress isn't Pam Anderson, I knew she was off her rocker. She wasn't looking for sexy! She was looking for common whore. Who wants to emulate Pam Anderson? Has anyone seen her lately?

If she wanted to be Pam she could've saved money and bought a white bikini.

Just finished watching.

Honestly. If the words "this could be a down payment on a house" come out of your mouth, you need to take a step back. That was girl was insane for spending $11,000 (not to mention going to shop before even being engaged).

If you're marrying the guy you want to be married to, you're "already winning at life", duh.

There are awesome dresses out there and not a penny over $3K at most. My daughter looked at everything from Monique L' what's her name for $11K to David's Bridal for $1,000 and ended up with a fabulous gown from a Spanish designer for $2K - in 2008. In fact she and her husband and wedding party are part of the advertisement for the photographer -

Of course, it helps that she is a cutie...

The whole "seamstress sent my dress to the dry cleaner" thing sucks. But I wonder how that could happen (if you never asked for something to be dry cleaned?)

The 'store ordered the wrong size thing" is crappy too. But I know that anytime I've ever ordered formalwear/maid's dresses, they measured and recommended a size, and I had to tell them if it was ok. Then they called me before placing the order to confirm the size. I suppose anything can happen though (especially if a store is busy and doesn't double check).

I want to know how and why she was not reimbursed for that... and why she didn't raise hell so that she would be.

She might've sued but maybe wasn't allowed to speak about it.

I really hope so. I was about to yell at my TV when she said she was paying for the same dress twice.

Why do some brides on this show bring SO many people to their appointments. I could not function with that many people sharing opinions.

I get that some people are close with their families, but the whole "my WHOLE family HAS to like it before I buy it" thing is kind of silly to me. I think that's how people end up buying something they don't actually like and regretting it.

Random, but for those of you wondering what Pnina, designer of everyone's favorite see-through dress is up to for her latest collection:

This is one of the fugliest gowns I've ever seen. It looks like she's wearing Christmas tree metallic garland on top of a Frederick's of Hollywood bustier.

Fugly is too nice of a word.

I can't believe that woman bought that travesty of a dress for 21k! That amount of money could put me through grad school for a year

The only word I thought of when I first saw it was "TACKY". Completely tacky. Wouldn't be caught dead in it. *Shudder*.
