Thumbs down The white nationalist version of The Olsen Twins?

Young Singers Spread Racist Hate
Duo Considered the Olsen Twins of the White Nationalist Movement

Oct. 20, 2005 — - Thirteen-year-old twins Lamb and Lynx Gaede have one album out, another on the way, a music video, and lots of fans.

They may remind you another famous pair of singers, the Olsen Twins, and the girls say they like that. But unlike the Olsens, who built a media empire on their fun-loving, squeaky-clean image, Lamb and Lynx are cultivating a much darker personna. They are white nationalists and use their talents to preach a message of hate.

Known as "Prussian Blue" -- a nod to their German heritage and bright blue eyes -- the girls from Bakersfield, Calif., have been performing songs about white nationalism before all-white crowds since they were nine.

"We're proud of being white, we want to keep being white," said Lynx. "We want our people to stay white ... we don't want to just be, you know, a big muddle. We just want to preserve our race."

Lynx and Lamb have been nurtured on racist beliefs since birth by their mother April. "They need to have the background to understand why certain things are happening," said April, a stay-at-home mom who no longer lives with the twins' father. "I'm going to give them, give them my opinion just like any, any parent would."

Huh?
Would there be a way someone can keep them from being white?

Tanning? I dunno....

Not to get off topic, but since when do the Olsen twins sing? I could swear they were actresses.

Somebody brought this up in a government class in high school. She said that it was unfair the way celebarting your heritage has such a double standard. There could be BSUs at every school, but if there was ever a White Student Union, then they'd be called KKKs and run out of town. Even as people were rolling their eyes, I could see she had a point, but this....I try to see the silver lining in everybody, but I don't know what to say about this. I think it's a good-intention forced on them by their parent(s) and then mutated and twisted into a money-making scheme that will eventually get them beat down and hiding out with Osama. But at least they'll have their blue eyes to remind them where they came from.*sigh*

She doesn't have a point. Cultural pride develops out of something significant that a people has experienced. Whites may have had that during times like the Revolutionary War and the Civil War, but where do you see it today?

Cultural pride can also be artificially created through fanaticism (e.g. KKK).

Cultural pride I don't have a problem with - but "white" is NOT a culture, and the creation of white as a culture is, by definition, extremely virulent racism. That's history, and I don't know why it isn't standard HS curriculum. Sad.

First, the BSU formations on several PWI campuses was done for "PROTECTION". Some Universities did NOT allow Black students to use the library to study. They had to study elsewhere and find a way. Generally, the Black churches provided protection. But not always.

Times may have changed alot, but not that much. And to all for the illusion of inclusion is to have somebody wind up disillusioned. Your classmate is disillusioned to think that no one can associate based on their heritage.

I couldn't give a crippa crap if the KKK and Nazi's formed student groups if they wanted to Provide scholarships to "their people". But, who are they really going to select? How are they going to say their selected winner truly DESERVED their scholarship into White Studies--what studies are White? And if they switch it around and say European, what part of Europe? What about the Russians, Turks and other Eastern European countries? Are they accepted? You want to see ugly and immediate stratification in campus, let your admins buy into that crap... If it were me, I say they show Jerry Springer every day with Girls Gone Wild... And let homegirl be pissed off.

This is the same crap we of the NPHC get bombarded with all the time. There's another post somewhere on GC questioning ethnically sounding lastnames. People forget that the discrimination against one's surname breaks the 1965 Civil Rights Act.

Oh well so much for knowing one's history... Too many of our elders and responsible parents have died. Know thyself and move forward.

Even the GC Southern Elite are not that heartless. Maybe?

I should have made myself more clear. She was referring to celebrating struggles of their ancestors from their invididual European cultures and all the different countries they came from--not just the white Americans who sat around enslaving people. That was what I found a valid point.

Was that a general statement or are you actually implying that I don't know my own history?

geez...somehow I'm guessing a Compton tour date is not on their "concert" tour schedule.

this is sad, but it shows once again what can grow in dark places in the absence of light. also, the ironic comparison to "gansta rap" in the piece was interesting to note. *translation = we bite that which we hate.*
