What TV shows do you Tivo?
Hi, my name is GtownGirl98 and I'm a TV watcher.
I know that there is most likely a thread over in enterainment about this but since I don't venture outside of this thread, I thought I would post this question to you all! I thought it would be interesting to see what shows my sisters have season passes on their tivo/dvr/vcr or just can't miss list.
My husband and I are having BIG issues this year because we love our tivo but some of our favorite shows are not making it because we (and 50 million other people) are not watching everything when networks want us to. I found out that networks don't include DVR and TIVO watchers in their ratings (Nelson doesn't at least) because we aren't watching the ads... so this stinks a big one.
ANYWAY, here are the season passes we have set up...
Also, ignore spelling errors.
Sunday: Des. Housewives
Brothers and Sisters
Family Guy
Monday: 7th Heaven (I've watched it for years, have to finish it out)
Two and a Half Men
Hero's
Studio 60 (my fav but seems to be off the air)
The Black Donnell's (that is my hubby's fav show, also seems to be off the air)
What about Brian (but it is over for the season)
The Riches (this one is still growing on me)
Tuesday: Gilmore Girls (another that I've watched since the beginning)
All the Law and Orders
American Idol (never watched pass the auditions before tivo came along)
Wednesday: American Idol results show
Medium
South Park
Cheerleader U (only because UK is the team being covered)
Thursday (This is the biggest night)
The Office
My name is Earl
Scrubs
ER
Survivor
Grey's Anatomy (if this is a rerun, then CSI is recorded)
Men in Trees (if you haven't watched this show, go to ABC and stream it)
Friday: Las Vegas (also over for the season)
Nothing on Saturday
A few shows I watch online are Raines (NBC's new show) and October Road (also a new show on ABC) and if I miss CSI then I watch it also.
Please don't think that I sit and stare at my tv for all these hours... I normally do a lot of stuff while all this is going on, I'm really just listening more than watching. Also skipping the ads cuts down on the time also and fast forwarding through most of Idol helps, too. Also a lot of these shows air in the same time slot (i.e. Studio 60 was replaced with The Black Donnell's, Men in Trees has been on vacation so October Road has been airing in it's spot). So you get the idea.
If anyone is interested, I've been reading a blog called TVsquad.com, it is interesting for all us TV watchers.
