Ever since I decided that I wanted to go through recruitment and have been browsing on GreekChat I realized that members of the sororities have a whole semester to observe you. It makes me really think about the things I do before I do them.
Ex: Parties. I've been to a few fraternity parties with friends this semester but I always offer to be the "sober/responsible" friend because I don't want to give a bad impression… someone could really remember you as "that sloppy drunk girl who made out with like 3 brothers at the XYZ party" (exaggeration here)
Ex: Dressing well. As much as I just want to roll out of bed an throw a hoodie and sweats on I also don't want to look like a slob every day. People might start to notice me as the girl who looks like she may or may not have showered.
Also, I've really been trying to make it to a lot of the sororities philanthropy events that I see advertised around campus and on top of that their fall/winter open houses.
Is this my OCD operating here? Or do members actually notice this stuff?
