Worried!

I think I may have a problem, but I'm really stuck on what to do.

I recently registered with my local alumni group a few weeks ago to help out with recs and stuff, but I haven't received any confirmation after sending in my packet? There is nothing on their website about actually receiving something that says "Hey! You registered!" but in circumstances like this, I'm just thinking it would be common courtesy to send me an e-mail, something in the mail, a phone call-- just something to let me know they got my packet.

I sent in my packet VERY close to the deadline, so this is definitely why I'm really anxious for confirmation. I'm really scared that they might not have received it and I'm going to go into rush with zero recs which will be terrible especially since I'll be at a very competitive SEC school. So, would it be a bad idea to contact the director? I really hate to come off as rude/annoying, but I'm just reaaaaalllyyyy nervous!!

Thank you in advance!
