Your post was misleading because it read like you weren't forthcoming with the information. Then you stated it wasn't hard to not be forthcoming because you went to a large commuter school. Thanks for clarifying that everyone knew your age and the fact that you were a single parent. Well...I guess that's what you're saying.
As far as how "busy" you would've been, MIP is supposed to be a very busy time.

So having a child, or other obligations that a more traditional student might not have, is something that could be worked around if you're forthcoming.
