Helping Out
I'm sure that most of you guys are on the adviser listserv already but I thought that i would also post this here just in case. So far, I have heard back from about 6-7 AOII chapters that want to join in on the drive--I'm just waiting for contact/mailing addresses! =)
I know that its not all that much, but I'm helping to collect stuffed animals to send to the children of the firefighters, police officers, and EMTs who lost their lives saving others. If anyone is interested in helping out and sending stuffed animals I would be more than happy to e-mail the address to send them to once I get it. Please drop me a private message if you are interested. Also, remember to go give blood in a week or so if you are able--even before the tragedy the Red Cross blood supply was at a VERY low level.
