carnation sisters for colonies?

Since there is a new chapter colonizing near my college this upcoming year, I was wondering: How do carnation sisters work for new colonies? There are no initiated members to serve as the big sisters of the colonists. For my band fraternity, a supervising chapter handles all the ritual and the big/little type thing, but it is my understanding that the National Exec board handles the colonizing process in Phi Mu.

That said, I'm very excited for the upcoming colony (Rho Eta @ GVSU) and can't wait to be present at the initiation and the installation!
