Rachael Ray ad pulled as pundit sees terror link
Yes, this is as ridiculous as it sounds...
Rachael Ray ad pulled as pundit sees terror link
Malkin claimed scarf similar to those worn by murderous Islamic extremists
Dunkin' Donuts pulled a television spot featuring talk show host and Food Network personality Rachael Ray this weekend after a Fox news commentator associated it with terrorists.
In the ad, Ray is wearing a scarf that Michelle Malkin said in her nationally syndicated column resembled a kiffiyeh, Middle Eastern garb that is "popularized by Yasser Arafat and a regular adornment of Muslim terrorists appearing in beheading and hostage-taking videos."

There is a photo in the story of Ray wearing the scarf, which happens to be black and white PAISLEY with a fringed edge. It's nothing like the "garb" Malkin is speaking of, other than it being black and white! Pitiful that Dunkin Donuts pulled the ad.

Who cares. Rachel Ray sucks out loud. I would love an increase in not being able to see her on television.

I agree with both of you.
And the term "hyper" may not cover this-what is the next level up?
What is next-a black dress?

Although I second your opinion, the fact that this ad was pulled over a scarf, that is a little silly. Not that the ad was pulled, but that I understand it is necessary for them to pull the ad... however, isn't there such thing as photoshop?

1. It looks more like a Jewish prayer shawl to me (Other than the color being black not blue).
2. A men's scarf? Hello, women were black or dark colored Hajaibs in Islamic countries! Not those types of scarfs!
This is sooo stupid!

Khaki jackets! Khaki jackets!
I think what we really need to watch out for are those khaki jackets. We all know who wears them:
AND
Michelle Malkin!
Coincidence? I think not!
We're onto you, Michelle.

I don't understand it. I guess the scarves is more offensive then advocating internment camps.

Malkin is awesome.
I'd be fine with the scarf if it was on Giada.
