Need Honest Feedback
I was considering joining an Alumnae Chapter. I have heard many people say that they regretted not pledging as an undergraduate; I'm hoping that I will not feel this way (I really doubt it though). I am 25 years old, and I bet that many of you wonder why I haven't done it sooner. To be honest, I had some family obligations to take care of. I have taken care of my grandparents, as well as some other family members, for several years now. I was young, and with all that pressure to perform in school and work and take care of them, I simply did not have the time. Now that I have the time, I am really thinking about it.
Has anyone else been through a similiar thing? I would love to hear how the experience was? I am also married and was wondering if anyone found it hard to balance time between the organization and your family? I am very family oriented and wanted to know if Delta Sigma Theta has family oriented programs or activities? Or does it depend on each chapter?
