Last week the Social Sciences department called my parents home (where they think I still live and where I happened to be at the time) to try to get me to donate money. I chatted with the guy for a bit but did not give anything.
When I was still in school I decided that if I became filthy rich I'd buy myself a building or school on campus. At the very least a Greek Row off campus! Other than that I haven't felt the urge to give money to a system that has doubled tuition in 8 years but has not changed the student workers pay
at all.
