Alumni Workshops

Guys: I’m thinking of taking my alumni communications biz in a slightly different direction. In addition to providing newsletters/etc. for chapters & alumni groups, I’m planning on doing workshops for IFC/PanHel/NPHC meetings. The focus is going to be dealing w/alumni issues, such as…

• Alumni Assns./Housing Corps.
• Alumni Communications
• Fundraising
• Mentoring

Another workshop I'm considering would deal with fraternity fires - not just the usual "ya gotta get sprinklers, ya know???" message, but something more in depth that deals w/that obvious idea AND how to cope w/the aftermath of that type of tragic event.

In a nutshell, the way I envision my company going is to provide alumni communications materials AND workshops of interest for both UGs and alums alike. I've gotten some positive feedback from Greek advisors I know through AFA & MGCA, so this has piqued my interest.

This is why I'm turning to you. As long-time LCA alums, you've gotten a pretty good idea of what types of subjects we find interesting. Some of these programs could eventually be utilized for future Alumni College programs (ya never know...).
