Bragging about my little brother
As I've said elsewhere on the site, my brother is a Phi Psi. When he pledged, the chapter was in a precarious position - no real house (they rent the house they live in), no real source of pledges (the other fraternities rely on sports teams to feed into their new member classes), and a large number graduating in 1-2 years.
In the three years that he has been a member, he has become the president of his chapter, and has literally worked singlehandedly to turn the numbers around. The chapter has grown and bounced back marvelously, and they are having record pledge classes. Chapter total is now at 30, only 5 members short of where they want to be at. The future of the chapter is assured once again, they are moving into the old Chi-O house (Chi-O is moving next door to a bigger one), and in two years time, the chapter will celebrate its 150th anniversary on campus.
At other points in its history, the chapter has bounced back from one member, being de-recognized by the college, and losing their house, but they've prevailed. I'm so proud of my brother, and I couldn't be happier for him.
