This website was brought to my attention, I thought it was nice to see they were making an effort to return

Unfortunately, everything on that site is 5 years old, and it doesn't appear they've done anything since. Kind of like our chapter.

I don't know if 20 years is long enough. For crying out loud, even today, Lambda Chi's speak in hushed tones about the "Rutgers Incident." I don't seriously look for us to have a chapter there again...ever.

I must agree with OTTER246. The death at Rutgers was senseless. The memory of that sad episode will, and must, remain with us as a marker between the 'old way' and the 'new way' of operating our fraternal family.

A return to Rutgers would leave me with some mixed thoughts: The joy that sharing the Brotherhood with men unknown and the sad reminder of all that we lost with one simple, dumb act.
