I Love Lucy!

I LOVE the show I Love Lucy! And my faovrite one is on! Its when Ricky is mad at Lucy for some reason and theyre not talking, so Ethel decides to make Lucy look like she got hit by a bus, and then Ricky would take her back. So Ricky decides with Fred to make it seem that the buliding is on fire so, he can rescue Lucy and she will love him again. Well Lucy is in bandages, and he pretends to have the fire, and so Lucy panics and starts hobbling around to throw valubles out the window (including two bottles of Henna Rinse) and then tries to climb out, but forgets to tie the sheets to the bed, and falls out the window!

I love this show, its so funny! Lucille Ball was amazing! (Ive read almost every book on them!!)

There are only a few good things that came out of Clarion- Chris Kirkpatrick of NSync, Kurt Angle (Pre WWF!) and any PHI SIGMA SIGMA!

My favorite epsiode is where Lucy is working at the chocolate factory and gets behind when shes packaging the chocolate. Sometimes I think about that at work LOL

OMG!! I LOVE Lucy!! Those are both great episodes. The one that makes me laugh the entire show..is the one where Ethel and Lucy are acting as Martians on top of the Empire State Building. Trying to get $500. I laugh so hard tears come out.
Another good one is when they are in Hollywood and Lucy and Ethel steal John Wayne's prints from the Chinese Manns Theater. LOL
They are all so good. Nothing on TV can compare to them today.
I also have read a lot on the show. I think it is so amazing how Vivian Vance and William Frawley hated each other. They come off so good on screen though!

Did you know that Vivian Vance gained and kept on an extra 20 pounds during the run of the show. Lucy, didn't want competition, and Ethel was supposed to be a "frumpy housewife"

Okay- this made me think about something. When I was a jr. in high school, my cheerleading squad went to cheer camp at SHSU, and we were watching "I Love Lucy" in the dorm lounge one night. Out of nowhere, one of my team mates said, "I love this show, but it's always reruns." We laughed for about an hour about that, the whole time she was looking at us like "what?"
Now that I'm thinking about it, I've started laughing again. I don't know what about the situation still makes it so funny. Maybe my mind is fried from Govt.

Lucy is one of my favorites!!

Another vote for the chocolate factory ep - which is also the one where Ricky and Fred decide to make arroz con pollo for dinner... they make about 4 lbs of rice (which of course expands to fill most of the kitchen), and the pressure cooker with the chicken inside explodes!!

What always impressed me about that show, is that it used only clean humor... no crude sexual jokes or anything... and that it's still funny today, nearly 50 years later. (Even though I could never be a housewife

)
