What have you waited in line (and overnight) for?

Saw a news report this morning that the new Air Jordan XXIII were being released and only 23 stores across the US had them and one was here in MD...some people had been camped out for days for these shoes. There were 300 people trying to become one fo the lucky few to get this shoe

Nowadays people camping out for something is not all that common.

PS3's, Wii's, movie openings, Iphones, Ipods, and Black Friday have all become commonplace to find people hanging out waiting for something.

What have you ever camped out for, was it worth it in the end and if it was a product that you wanted to buy, do you still have it ?

Any stories of fights that may have occured?

I don't recall ever waiting in line for a long period of time for any material thing.

I did; however, end up waiting in line 3.5 hours to pay my respects to Coretta Scott King at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta. I was at the end of the line -- made many wonderful aquaintances along the way -- and was interviewed on FOX news.
