I'm working for the man, at NSWC Crane Naval Base in, get this, Indiana. Yep, it's a naval base in landlocked southern Indiana. When it was built during WW2, it couldn't be reached by plane from either coast.

I'm feeling you on this one. I teach middle school and have this desk job for the summer. I am used to talking, yelling, pulling my hair out LOL! Now I am a GC addict. I'm in an office by myself with no one to talk to except GC members.

It is about 2 hours south of Indy, about a half hour southwest of Bloomington, mostly in Martin County I think.

Well, I'm sitting at work....I work at social services as a secretary, however it gives me a look at the inside of what I will be doing myself in a couple of years (I'm a social work major). I work here 5 days a week, and then on the weekends I work at a place that hosts birthday parties. Then, two days during the week (after I leave here) I give private tumbleing lessons. Man, do I stay busy. Then, on top of all that I have to fit my fiance' in there some where!!! I guess you could say he gets the sort end of the stick!! LOL

HeeHee, I'm sitting next to the pool with my laptop drinking iced tea, listening to the radio and working on my tan You just happened to have caught me at a good time, though, since I spend 99% of my waking time chasing my kids around!

Right now i'm chillin at home, after a tough day at the lab . . . ok, so i took a 3-hr lunch and worked out and hit a few golf balls while my cells incubated. But it was cool - i work like 25-30 hrs a week in a research lab, then i wait tables/bartend 2 or 3 nights a week; i end up w/ like 40 (or slightly more) hours a week, which is solid. Good summer work - one fun job where i make bling, and one job that might actually have some bearing on my future work.
Then there's the unofficial summer work: the parties, the whiffleball, the looking at girls . . . aye *say in best prof. frink voice* - that's the stuff too.
