What's your style?
What is your personal style? Do you like to dress up and be preppy? Are you the hawiian shirt king or queen? Or are you somewhere inbetween?
Personally, most of my clothes come from Gap. My typical outfit is either dark jeans or khaki shorts, black top, black sandals, kate spade bag and diamond stud earrings. Simple, casual, with a little bit of dressy.

I would have to say my style is classy conservative. I work pretty much everyday so I dress more conservatively but with class. My closet is full of clothes from Learner's and The Limited.
I'd say I'm boarderline preppy though. When I have the chance to be casual I like to dress in khakis or capris. I especially love my overalls though. I believe that my mood affects my choice in clothes.

my friends refer to me as the Gap queen... I've worked there so I've taken advantage of the discount I would say I'm preppy - but more classic. I don't like loud flashy patterns, i stick with the simple colors and lines. I wear just about anything Gap, Banana Republic and Jcrew.

I have a two different styles
I'm usually dressed in B. Rep/J Crew from head to toe, with the occassional thing from A&F. Almost always khakis, (I have one pair of jeans I occasionally wear) with a stretchy little B. Rep shirt - typically a polo, or v neck. Always wearing my Birk Bostons or milanos, or JCrew Berkshires. My new favorite outfit is any mix and match of the pants, shorts (2), or shirt I just got [all linen], I am kinda obsessive with style (for a straight guy).
My other style is all-outdoors, Patagonia, North Face, Mt. Hardwear, Kavu, Marmot, Saloman...I love all that stuff

I don't know what I am...it changes day-to-day, depending on my mood!
Sometimes (most of the time, actually) I wear classic styles....but on the other hand, sometimes I love to dress sorta "trendy" if you will, or sometimes I will dress up (long skirts with a slight slit, sandals to go along with it ). Other times I dress sporty!
So I honestly don't know .
P.S. But I have an obsession with strappy sandals!! I have soooo many pairs!!

I am the multople-personality girl. LOL. Peices from about every store in the mall...A&F tanks, American Eagle shorts, Gap sweaters for the winter, Limited jeans, Express jewlery, JCrew long black skirt, Old Navy flip flops. Some days I wear pj pants to class others I'm in a dress. I love red, black and blue clothes. Pink and purple for summer. Little leopard peice for everything, or hawaiian too. I'm NEVER without my diamond stud earrings...my signature peice of course! I love the feeling that I get when I put an outfit together. It's not the look off the cover of a magazine and it makes me proud to know I am an individual and I probably didn't break the bank. Notice I said probably!

I dunno what to call my style--preppy with a hint of hoochie? I dunno LoL.
Gaaah...is there anything wrong with "brand name anything"?I must confess that most of my clothes came from Benetton, Armani Exchange, Guess,NafNaf,Diesel and Stefanel when I was living in the Philippines (we didn't get American brands A&F,Gap or Express over there, just mostly European brands, so I didn't wear A&F and the Gap until I moved here). I wear baby tees/tanks, capris, jeans or overalls from those stores plus gym shoes or maryjanes and (gotta have) a matching purse...and of course, I also Greek attire such as tees or sweater w/ letters!
For party wear I like one shouldered or sparkly halter tops and them so called sorority girl pants...the tops I get them real cheap at Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe--they're mostly 18 bucks or less and pretty durable too...plus the ever reliable Kate Spade purse to carry your "necessities" (which of course, was already discussed in the other thread). I also have a collection of cheongsams (the traditional silk fitted chinese dress w/ mandarin collar)--w/ sleeves or w/o, short or long and in a lot of colors...I wear them to parties, or in church (the long ones w/ sleeves anyway)w/ my hair up w/ sticks and it makes me feel like Lucy Liu or someone... ;D my ex told me many times how he finds the look so sexy. Anyway the cheongsam has withstood centuries of fashion trend changes and I don't think it's gonna go out of style anytime soon ...I have a beautiful floral red sleevless long one that I wore to one of our formals and it gave me a break from the traditional "prom queen" type of getup (although dont get me wrong, i like that look too!). also that one dress's side slits were slightly higher than the traditional cheongsam's slits were supposed to be...my ex was the one who pointed it out, saying "i don't think the ancient chinese had their slits THAT high..."

most of my clothes are gap, old navy, LERNERS (I love their selection all year long), Dress Barn or Casual Corner (for my suits/church clothes). I'm also an express girl as well as Bebe.
Most of my shoes come from Kenneth Cole or Nine West.

My Style
During the week I work, so its got to be professional dress. I have an ensemble of different colored shirts from Mens Warehouse and I have a couple black slacks from Hechts. I love the black labeled haggars I believe. On the weekends it depends on what I'm doing. If I'm going out I'll probably wear a nice polo or collared shirt. I have a couple Chaps/Ralph Lauren shirts and Eddie Bauer Shirts. I'm a big fan of Nautica too. I just got a really nice Nautica wallet that zips up. Right now my two favorites for cologne are Cerrutti-Image and Ralph Lauren Romance for Men. I've been wearing the former lately and I think its awesome.

I realized that I don't really shop anymore. I used to shop much more in HS, when I had time, and I had the distinct feeling of being in a fashion show. I pick up articles whenever I'd like something new, but I don't shop nearly to the same extent as I did during HS (which was two years ago!). In HS, I did GAP, A&F, Limited, and Esprit like mad, when those were the only stores in my mall and I didn't know any better! Now, when I shop, I go to department stores like Nordstrom, Saks, and Bloomingdales, or classier women's stores like Ann Taylor or Ellen Tracy. Of course, I can go into how my style changes when I'm in the North as opposed to the South, but that's another thread (which I will start soon! ).

I wear JCrew business casual clothes for work. Abercrombie/JCrew for casual(polos and cargos).
I rarely wear jeans, but when I do they are Lucky*Brand Jeans.
That's about it.

Faced with the Divine, I was asked; "What one gift do you seek?"
I answered ever so meekly; "I seek Honor, Truth, Integrity, and Wisdom, yet those are four. How am I to choose?"
The answer came as a pounding whisper; "The four you seek are but one. I grant thee Compassion; for without it the four make none."
