I was watching the bidding at the end. Why would the high bidder increase his bid? He bid against himself!!! That happened (he increased from $202.50 to something like $245!) and then someone else bid the winning bid of $326.21. I guess it was that automatic bid limit thing that eBay has, but why didn't the winning bidder just bid $250 or whatever the increments are?
I had to hold myself back from bidding. I lost my badge this year and haven't replaced it yet. Instead of my chapter letters, I got the coat-of-arms guard like this one had--it is not offered to members anymore, just LCs I think. My guard was enameled, but this one was pretty, too. I liked the fleur-de-lis detail under the Alpha Omega Omicron. Mine was sapphire and pearls, but I could have gotten used to the diamonds and pearls!
