Not DaemonSeid

I was at a conference today and saw this guy. I really thought it was DaemonSeid. LOOKED JUST LIKE HIM!

The creepy thing is this -- the dude walked past me, smiled, and shook my hand! And he was like "Good to see you!"

I even wrote in my notes "I totally just met DaemonSeid!"

So I saw him later at a workshop and I waited around to chit-chat with him. I said "Hey, I just realized I only know your screen name..."

Dude said "Screen name?"

And I was like "Yeah....." and it was at that moment I realized that this wasn't DaemonSeid at all and I needed to do some quick deflection.

"Aren't you in a fraternity?" I asked.

He said no.

And I said "Well I'm an Alpha -- how do you think we know each other?" <------ gotta admit, that was a great Jedi mind trick.

And he was like "Atlanta, right?"

And I was like "No....I don't think we've met before at all."

So then HE started looking confused, which was fine with me, because at least at this point he forgot that I said "screen name" which, in the wrong context, sounds like some porno isht.

So I laughed and said "Wow, this is the longest case of mistaken identity I've even been in...."

Then we chit-chatted some more, then it was over.

Kinda embarrassing, right? lol
