Omega Man Defens the Jena 6
The brother's name is George Tucker. He is a Beta Sigma bruh. And a '96 graduate of my beloved alma mater Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge. He was mentioned in this weeks Jet on the Jena 6 crisis.
This is definitely the kind of issue that the frat needs to get behind. Ques (especially lawyers) have, historically, been in the mist of the civil rights struggles for our people. For example, brothers Walter H. Mayzack, Vernon Jordan, Hon. William Hastie, Fred Gray, Sr., and many other men of Omega have contributed to the greatest human rights campaign- called the civil rights movement. There should be no surprise that a Que is in the middle of this modern day civil rights conflict.
