No, but this is not uncommon with PNMs and NMs! My oldest took off to her new sorority house several years ago withough calling us and telling us where she'd pledged! And we were afraid she'd been released and was off crying somewhere when we didn't get a call! Other parents told us that the same had happened to them.
Anybody heard anything at all?
