Your Future Life
Well, I'm a bit bored, and I don't think that this has posted before! So...tell me, how do you want your future life to be? Like what are your hopes and dreams?
I'll start...and I have a good imagination cuz I read a lot of happily-ever-after stories LOL...
I want to become part of a sorority in college, first off! Preferably somewhere where I just CLICK with the girls--and hopefully it feels like a second family...Then I want to have the best time in college--where I learn a lot and yet have fun. I would like to meet my College Sweetheart there, too! (Yeah, yeah...I'm a die-hard romantic ) Then I want to become a Interior Designer. Then I want to get married, have two kids, and hypen my name (my name, hypen, then his name). I would like to have a beautiful, spacious house with a beautiful view of the ocean and skyline! Preferably in some seaside town in California, where there aren't too many people, but not totally isolated either. And most of all, I want to live happily ever after!
OK, yeah, yeah, I'm a hopeless idealist, hehe. So share yours, I don't care how long/short it is! I'm looking forward to reading your replies!
Mandy

OHHHHHHHHHHHH GOODNESS GRACIOUS!!! Well let's see...I actually have 2 versions. There's the hopeless romantic version that ends happily ever after and the version I feel is more realistic. Anyways...here goes.
FAIRYTALE VERSION...I find my sweetheart sometime in the near future (since I'm already a junior in college). We fall madly in love with each other, get married, and have 3 or 4 kids. OHHHH...and before we get married I am a successful businesswoman. Once I have my kids I stay home with them until they're ready to enter elementary school then I go back to work. And we have this huge antebellum style house and I drive a cute yet functional car.
REALISTIC VERSION...it's short and sweet. I don't end up getting married so I go from grad school straight to work. I do adopt a child though because I'm going to be a mother no matter what!!!! We live in a smaller house and I just drive a functional car. Oh yeah...my dogs Louie and Buster live with me.
That's it!!!!!!

Five time Academy Award winning actor. Rich. Married to Jessica Alba or Pamela Anderson or Jody Sweetin (sp?). I would like to have a little girl, Vanessa Lynn. And maybe a son. Who knows. And I'm not gonna let drugs get in the way of my dreams. Billy never says "I wanna be a junkie, when I grow up."
My house is gonna rule all ass!!

What a neat topic Bubbles!
Well...I hope to live somewhere exotic...like Thailand or something . I have a flair for that kinda thing! I wanna be married (well that will happen soon, since I"m engaged!)...with 2 kids, a boy and a girl. I want my house/ranch/split-level to be a few blocks away from a beautiful, white-sand, clear-blue-water beach. I would like my daughter, who will be a KKG legacy, to also become a Kappa. I would like my son to become a SigEp (my fiance is one).
And like you, I wanna live happily ever after too!
Jacqueline
P.S. Edited to say: I would just like my future son and/or daughter to become a GREEK, not necessarily a KKG or SigEP! Of course I would be thrilled if they were to become a Kappa or SigEp...however, I would like them to join a sorority/fraternity where they feel most at home!

Oh come on Hootie... we all watched Jodie Sweetin grow up as the annoying, yet lovable Stephanie Tanner on Full House.. one of my personal favorite show's of the 90's

Well, if things follow my 5-year plan, this is what will happen:
I'll graduate from college next year, and start law school the following fall. That means I'll graduate in 2005, and be admitted to the bar later that year. I hope to get married to my current boyfriend sometme after law school (if not between the second and third years). I plan on moving back to New Orleans (I can't *stand* Baton Rouge) and working in internet and intellectual property law. Somewhere after the 5 year plan comes kids, and a summer home in Florida, but I've gotta get past these first 5 years

LOL Bubbles...
Yeah me and my fiance are seriously thinking about Thailand...we've visited there plenty of times and it is just wonderful. What a beautiful locale! We're also thinking about Singapore. I have many cousins who are working there and they love it there! OF course it is very different from the U.S....but we're ready for that!
You've probably read the California thread...and you can bet that I will move there one day!!

Finish college. Go to Law School.
When complete, become legal counsel for large international winery. Eventually gain enough capital to buy my own winery(s)... expand to international markets... from there they sky is the limit.

The plan
*Finish college
*Get on the Alum Advisory Board of my chapter
*Find a job within my field
*Find the man of my dreams (It sounds so simple! Oh if only...)
*Get married
*Have kids
*Become the cool suburban hockey/soccer mom and wear lots of tacky buttons
*Use the line, "back when I was in school...."
*Retire from work and golf everyday
*Become a fat old grandma that makes the best chocolate chip cookies on earth
